I bought this for my 30 year old Dremel rotary tool which has seen a lot of use. I wondered if this attachment would fit but it screwed on easily. I used a low speed and tried the gouge on a piece of spruce. It worked flawlessly! As indicated, it only starts working when you touch the tip of the gouge to the wood. This triggers the reciprocationg motion and the wood just curls up! I am pleased with this product so far. I intend to try it on basswood and maple soon. By the way, the price is right as well.
