Perfect walking stick Review by Bill
I bought this out of curiosity. I cleaned the stick by shaving, sanding and finishing. It took tung oil finish and polish very well. Light and strong for the perfect stick. I am going to order more. (Posted on 1/15/11)

Ultralight Review by Argsnargle
The piece of yucca I received was long enough to use 8" of the broader end as a the handle for the rest of the stick. The resulting cane is almost exactly the same as a fancy carbon fiber ultralight cane I recently purchased but has a much nicer appearance than the carbon fiber cane. Easy to work and finish. Yucca was fun to work with Review by Jim F
Just finished my first Yucca Walking Stick (blank from Treeline). The Yucca was fun to work with and after 'working' the stick and applying a polyurethane finish, it made a great looking walking stick and a nifty conversation piece. (Posted on 10/19/10)

Impressed Review by Pete
I had total knee replacement surgery in May and I wanted to make my own walking stick for my recovery. I bought a Yucca and a Hickory blank and a brass hame top from Treeline. The Yucca was very light and rigid so I used that. I fit and mounted the hame top and installed a rubber cane tip, put on a little stain (I didn't need to sand the blank) and I was in business. Got a lot of attention and complements.

NICE PIECE Review by POKEY
I purchased a piece of yucca walking stick to make my dad a walking cane. After cutting it down to size and boring a center hole into it, I used a piece of antler (which I got here on this site) to make the handle. It made a very fine looking walking cane to say the least. I even burred down the bur on the antler and mounted a State of Texas Seal concho on the end of it just to dress it up. This is a great piece of wood to work with, very nice just left naturally. Very light weight but at the same time very sturdy. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to try something different. Thanks!!! J.D. (Posted on 3/1/10)
