I have had one of these for about 6 years. they are great for putting the final polish on a carving tool. You can use all of the surfaces. The profiles for the inner surface of gouges are somewhat limited. You won't be able to polish the inside of tight V tools. The stick of polish will last many years (I have used, maybe, 1/4 of the stick in 6 years).
It comes with instructions, but this item will not work to restore a damaged edge. For that you will need to use a coarser abrasive. (Posted on 10/6/10)
