Twisted Walking Stick

I bought a twisted stick awhile back to use in my class room during story time. I like the look of twisted sticks and I wanted something distinct so the kids would know is time to listen to my stories. However, when I received it, the stick looked more like a twisted mass of snakes wrapped around the stick and was exceedingly heavy. It looked more suited for a baseball bat than a story stick. I emailed Treeline and asked them to send a different slight less gnarly stick. I had to pay for the shipping and handling, but I didn't mind. The new stick is straighter with even twists along its length. The kids love it when I bring it out. It makes a great conversation piece with the parents too. Treeline is aces with me...... I should have called someone when i got the barely twisted thick twisted nobs. Not at all the quality I was expecting. Too much hassle to try and return. But the shape and ugliness wasn't even the biggest nightmare. I put it Aside to try and think what to do with it and when I went to the closet to get it it had been devoured by an infestation of boring wood eating worms. The stick was full of the hungry little buggers. All I paid for was to feed those nasty bugs. Unfortunately I didn't find them until they managed to digest most of the stick. All they left me was an interestingly chewed piece of firewood and a mess to clean up. Lesson learned! Inspect your sticks thoroughly when you get them quality isn't all you should be wary of. Treeline has always worked with me I should have called! I'm sure they would have made good... At least on the infestation. I'll still order from them they're straight shooters!!! (Posted on 4/9/12)

Had more of a small knob rather than a twist. It wasn't as it appeared.
